Artisan 17" Three Drawer Unit ARTP-3DR-17SC

Three drawers in a 17-inch-wide column is one of the most useful ways to use island space near the grill: room for tools and thermometers, towels, foil and the other things that otherwise get carried out from the house. The ARTP-3DR-17SC is Artisan's version. It is 304 stainless steel, runs every drawer on full-length soft-close ball-bearing slides, and stands 17" wide by 21-1/8" high. The island opening is 14-1/2" wide by 18-1/2" high. It shares its 17-inch width with Artisan's ARTP-17D single door, ARTP-2DR-17SC double drawer and ARTP-TH-17 towel holder, so faces line up across the island.

Model and Installation Information

The ARTP-3DR-17SC installs into a front opening in the island: 14-1/2" wide by 18-1/2" high, with the 17" x 21-1/8" face covering the cut. Artisan's spec sheet shows the unit about 21-1/4" deep overall including the front; take the required cutout depth from the sheet, and allow for the drawers' full extension in front of the island so nothing blocks them.

If you are placing it next to the grill, check the grill's installation manual for any required clearance to adjacent components before finalizing the layout.

Who This Model Is Best For

This unit is for the cook who wants tools, towels and consumables organized beside the grill instead of carried out from the house. It fits a mid-size Artisan island where a 17-inch column is available and three drawers will get more use than a single door.
