Frequently Asked Questions
What airflow does this Pyramid deliver?
Up to 1200 CFM from a four-speed blower. You get four discrete settings rather than a simple high-low switch, so light cooking does not have to run the hood wide open.
How do you change the speed?
With knobs on the hood face. Falmec uses knob control on the Pyramid for both fan speed and lighting, so adjustments are made by hand rather than through a touch panel.
Is there a light in the hood?
Yes. It uses LED lighting to illuminate the cooking surface below, which is energy-efficient and puts usable light on the grill after dark.
Are the filters washable?
Yes. The hood uses professional stainless steel baffle filters, and Falmec lists them as dishwasher-safe.
Baffle filters trap grease by forcing the airstream to change direction, so there is no mesh or paper element to replace on a schedule.
What grade of stainless is used?
AISI 304 with a Scotch Brite finish. Falmec chose that combination for stain and corrosion resistance and for a surface that cleans easily.
Is the chimney extension included?
No, it is an optional accessory. Falmec offers it so the hood can be adapted to different ceiling heights and the ductwork can be enclosed.
Does it need a wall behind it?
Yes. The Pyramid is a wall mount range hood, so it anchors to a wall and ducts through or up behind it.
An open island with no back wall calls for a different mounting style than this hood offers.
Is this made for outdoor kitchens or indoor ones?
It is the Falmec Pyramid Outdoor, built for outdoor kitchens and grilling areas, with the blower capacity and stainless construction that environment needs.
How do I confirm the exact width before I frame the wall?
Use the Pyramid spec sheet linked in the product description above, and check the width designation on the model you are ordering against it.
The Pyramid is also listed in a 36 inch and a 48 inch version, so confirm which one your opening is sized for.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
