One canopy over a longer cooking run
At 60 inches wide this hood is sized to cover a grill plus adjacent cooking equipment under a single canopy. Compare the hood width against the total span of everything that produces smoke below it — not just the grill — when you are deciding between this and the 48" or 72" models.
Airflow
A 2,000 CFM motor, the same unit used on the 42", 48" and 72" hoods. The 36-inch model in this range uses a 1,000 CFM motor, so the wider canopies are matched to the extra volume they have to clear.
