RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. RCS Cutlass Elite Power Burner CSB3
The RCS Cutlass Elite Power Burner (CSB3) brings serious indoor-kitchen cooking power to your outdoor kitchen island. Built from 304 stainless steel, this power burner pairs a solid brass inner ring with a stainless steel outer ring for a combined 60,000 BTUs, giving you the high heat needed for stir-frying, searing, or reducing sauces outdoors.
A removable wok ring accommodates round-bottom pots, pans, and woks for stir-fries, sauces, or other rounded cookware, and color-changing LED lights around the control knobs make it easy to read settings after dark. The burner also comes with a removable stainless steel lid for extra counter space when not in use and a removable grease tray for easy cleanup.
Designed for drop-in installation, the CSB3 requires a cutout of 13-3/4" W x 17-5/8" D x 9-1/8" H and connects with 3/8" fittings (gas connections not included). Available in natural gas or propane versions, it's backed by RCS's lifetime warranty on all parts, making it a durable centerpiece for any outdoor kitchen build.

How much heat does the CSB3 put out?
60,000 BTUs combined.
That is the output that makes a full stockpot or a wok practical outdoors, rather than something you start on the grill and finish inside.
How are the burner rings built?
A solid brass inner ring sits inside a stainless steel outer ring, and the two together make the 60,000 BTU rating.
Can I use a round-bottom wok on it?
Yes. A removable wok ring is included, so round-bottomed woks, pots and pans sit down into the flame instead of balancing on a flat grate.
Take the ring out and the burner goes back to handling flat-bottom cookware.
What cutout does the CSB3 need?
13-3/4" wide by 17-5/8" deep by 9-1/8" high.
The 9-1/8" height is the dimension that catches retrofits, since the burner needs clear space below the counter as well as in front of it.
Does it have lighting on the controls?
Color-changing LED lights sit over the control knobs, so you can read the settings after dark.
Does it come with a lid?
Yes, a removable stainless steel lid is included. Closed, it gives you back the counter space when the burner is not in use.
How do I clean up spillover?
A removable grease tray sits under the burner and lifts out, which is the part that gets the boil-over from a stockpot.
Is it natural gas or propane?
The CSB3 comes in a natural gas version and a propane version, so pick the one matching the fuel at your island before ordering.
What gas fittings are included?
The burner connects with 3/8" fittings. The gas connections themselves are not included, so those come from whoever plumbs the island.
Do I need an insulating liner for my island?
If the island is built from any combustible material, yes. RCS makes an insulating liner jacket for the RSB3A and CSB3 for that.
Block, masonry and steel-framed islands are non-combustible and do not need one. Confirm what your island is framed with before you order.
What is the difference between the Cutlass Elite CSB3 and the Cutlass Pro power burner?
Both make 60,000 BTUs, but the cutouts are not the same and neither is the trim. The CSB3 takes a 13-3/4" x 17-5/8" x 9-1/8" opening and uses color-changing LED knob lighting.
The Cutlass Pro RSB3A takes a 14" x 18-5/8" x 9-1/4" opening, lights its knobs in blue, and includes a transformer in the box. If you are replacing an existing burner, the cutout decides this for you.
