RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Frequently Asked Questions
What cutout does the RWD1 require?
The opening is 34-1/4" wide by 21" deep by 10-1/8" high. That is a wide, shallow opening, so plan it into the island layout early rather than trying to fit it later.
How much fits inside?
The inner drawer measures 26-3/4" wide by 19" deep by 7" high. The 7" of height is the figure to check against your serving dishes and covered platters.
How hot does it get?
The temperature range is adjustable from 50°F to 230°F. The low end is for keeping plates and rolls warm; the top end holds cooked dishes at serving temperature.
What are the electrical requirements?
It runs on 120V, 60 Hz, 8 amps, AC only, with a 5 ft power cord. Standard household power, but the outlet has to be within reach of that 5 ft cord inside the island.
Can I cook in it?
No. It holds cooked food, plates and sides warm while you finish grilling. At a 230°F ceiling it is a holding drawer, not an oven.
Is it built for outdoor conditions?
It is a fully enclosed drawer made from double-lined 304 stainless steel. Fully enclosed means the drawer body itself is sealed off from the island cavity, which matters when the unit holds food.
Do I still need one if I already have storage drawers?
They solve different problems. Storage drawers like the Valiant accessory drawer hold tools and utensils; the RWD1 is powered and holds finished food at temperature.
If your cooking runs in stages — sides done well before the steaks — the warming drawer is what closes that gap.
