RCS Valiant Spice Rack Utility Drawer VSD1 - 3 Rows, Fully Enclosed, 304 Stainless Steel
Frequently Asked Questions
How many rows of storage are in the VSD1?
Three. The rows are separated inside the drawer so spice jars, tools and small grilling accessories each get their own lane instead of sliding into one pile.
What are the cutout dimensions?
11-1/2 in. wide, 19-1/2 in. deep and 24 in. high. That is a slightly narrower opening than the VTD4 trash drawer needs, so the two are not interchangeable in a pre-built island.
How much face area does it cover once installed?
The overall size is 13-7/8 in. wide by 26-1/2 in. high. Use that figure, not the cutout, when you space the drawer against adjacent components.
Is the drawer sealed against the weather?
It is a fully enclosed cabinet with a double-lined 304 stainless steel door, so the contents sit inside a closed box rather than an open frame.
That matters for spices and paper goods, which are the items most likely to be ruined by an open-back drawer in an outdoor island.
Does it have soft-close action?
Yes, the VSD1 uses soft-close drawer action, so the front pulls itself the last part of the way in rather than slamming.
What is the VSD1 made from?
304 stainless steel, double-lined on the door. That is the same material grade used on the other Valiant Series drawers.
Can I use it for something other than spices?
Yes. RCS lists it as a spice rack and utility drawer, and the three rows are sized for spices, tools and grilling accessories alike. If you want deeper general storage instead, the Valiant VTD3 triple drawer is the larger option in the same series.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
