RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Frequently Asked Questions
What size opening do I cut for the VTD4?
The cutout is 11-3/4 in. wide by 19-1/2 in. deep by 24 in. high. Frame the opening to those numbers and the drawer face covers the edges.
The finished face measures 13-7/8 in. wide by 26-5/16 in. high, so allow for that overlap when you lay out neighboring doors and drawers.
Does a trash can come with it?
Yes, one removable plastic waste bin is included. The bin lifts straight out of the drawer so you can rinse it without pulling the unit from the island.
How narrow a cabinet section can this go into?
You need 11-3/4 in. of clear width in the opening, which is the narrowest of the Valiant waste drawers covered here.
That makes it the option when a full-width trash drawer would eat the cabinet run you wanted for a grill or a door.
What is the drawer front made of?
Double-lined 304 stainless steel. The double lining is the same construction RCS uses across the Valiant Series doors and drawers.
Is it a drawer or a hinged door?
It is a pull-out drawer. The bin travels forward with the front panel, so you drop waste in from above rather than reaching through a door opening.
How does the VTD4 differ from the Valiant VTD1?
The VTD4 is the narrow, trash-only unit with a single bin. The Valiant VTD1 combines trash with LP bottle storage instead, so pick based on whether you need to hide a propane tank in the same slot.
Will it match the rest of my Valiant cabinetry?
It carries the same Valiant Series 304 stainless construction as the other Valiant drawers, including the VSD1 spice drawer and the VTD3 triple drawer, so the faces read as one set.
