RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. How much weight can the top deck carry?
The reinforced top deck supports up to 600 pounds. That rating is the reason this unit exists — it is built to take a loaded ceramic cooker, not just to look like a shelf.
Can I set a kamado grill on it?
Yes, it is designed as a platform for a ceramic cooker. Weigh your kamado with its base and any charcoal load against the 600 lb figure, and confirm its footprint fits the 31" wide by 27-1/2" deep top.
What are the cutout and overall dimensions?
The unit is 31" wide by 27-1/2" deep by 19" high overall, and the cutout is 30-1/4" wide by 27-1/2" deep by 19" high. Width is the only dimension where the unit is larger than the opening.
What is underneath the deck?
A fully enclosed storage drawer. It holds charcoal, tools and accessories, so the fuel for the cooker on top lives directly under it.
How is it built?
Double-lined 304 stainless steel. The double lining is what carries the deck load while keeping the drawer below weather resistant.
Do I need a separate charcoal drawer as well?
Not necessarily — the enclosed drawer here already stores charcoal alongside tools. The VDCP1 is the dedicated alternative, with a removable bin rated to 24 lb of fuel and nothing else in the drawer.
Will it fit a standard island run?
It needs 27-1/2" of clear depth, which is deeper than the 22" the Valiant storage drawers ask for. Check depth first, since this is not a unit you can shim into a shallow bay.
