RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.

All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.

All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.

All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.

All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.

This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. Waste is the thing most outdoor kitchen plans forget until the island is already built. This is the RCS Valiant Series roll-out trash drawer, model VTD1, a fully enclosed 304 stainless steel drawer that takes a 13-gallon plastic bin, supplied with the unit. It slides into a 17-7/8" wide by 25" high by 17-1/2" deep cutout and gives a Valiant cabinet run a place to put rubbish that is not a bin standing next to the grill.

Model and Installation Information

The model is VTD1. This is a built-in component, so the cutout is the number that matters: 17-7/8" wide by 25" high by 17-1/2" deep. Confirm it against RCS's current specification sheet before the island is framed or the opening cut, and check the depth in particular, since at 17-1/2 inches it needs a deeper cavity than a standard drawer stack.

One note on the listing title. This product is titled here as a trash and LP bottle drawer, but the manufacturer literature we were able to verify describes the VTD1 as a fully enclosed trash and recycling drawer and does not state an LP bottle capacity. If you intend to store a propane cylinder in it, call us and we will confirm with RCS first, because a vented LP drawer and a trash drawer are not the same product.

Who This Model Is Best For

This suits an outdoor kitchen with a Valiant cabinet run already planned, where you want one full-height bay given over to waste. The 25-inch cutout height means it takes a tall slot rather than sitting under a counter alongside drawers, so it is a layout decision more than an afterthought. If you have less width to give and only need a single bin, the narrower Valiant VTD4 trash drawer is the smaller option.
