RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Frequently Asked Questions
How wide an opening does the VDR1 need?
The cutout is 15" wide by 22" deep by 19-1/2" high. At 15" wide it is one of the narrower Valiant units, so it fits into leftover cabinet runs beside a grill or door.
What do you get for that space?
Two fully enclosed drawers stacked in a single unit. Fully enclosed means the drawer boxes are closed off rather than open to the island cavity, so contents stay clean.
Do the drawers close softly?
Yes, both run on soft-close glides. On a narrow drawer that carries weight, the glides are what stop it slamming when you shut it with a full hand.
What is it built from?
Double-lined 304 stainless steel throughout. That is the same grade used on the rest of the Valiant series, so finishes match across a build.
Will it fit my island depth?
The cutout depth is 22", so the cabinet run has to give you that much clear space front to back before framing. Check the depth before the width — the 15" width is the easy part.
How is it different from the paper towel version?
The VTHC1 is the same idea with an integrated paper towel holder, and it needs a much taller cutout at 27-3/4" high against 19-1/2" here.
If your opening is short, the VDR1 is the one that fits; if you have the height and want towels off the counter, the VTHC1 covers both jobs.
