How many burners does the TF25 have and how much heat do they produce?

Three cast stainless steel burners rated at 14,000 BTUs each, for 42,000 BTUs across the grilling surface. Each burner is controlled separately, so you can leave one off and hold an indirect zone.

How much cooking area do I get?

539 square inches in total: 398 square inches on the main grid plus a 143 square inch warming rack. The main cooking grid measures 22" wide by 18" deep.

A removable inset cooking tray sits in the grill as well, so you can lift it out when you want the full grate area back.

How much space does the cart need in my yard?

49" wide, 25.6" deep and 49" high with the side shelves down. The shelves fold down for storage and open out when you need prep space, so the parked footprint is narrower than the working one.

Is the cart included or is it a separate purchase?

The deluxe cart is included, with fold-down side shelves and wheels, and assembly is required. A hose and regulator come with the grill as well.

Can I build the TF25 into an island instead?

Not this version. The TF25 cart grill is configured as a freestanding unit on wheels. TrueFlame lists the same 25" grill head as a separate built-in TF25 for island installations.

Does it run on natural gas or liquid propane?

Both fuels are offered, ordered as separate configurations. A propane cart takes a tank in the base; a natural gas cart has to reach a gas line, so decide which suits where the grill will stand.

What kind of ignition does it use?

Flame Thrower ignition fires the burners from the knobs. Indicator lights sit behind each knob so you can see at a glance which burners are still on.

Can I grill after dark with it?

Yes. Halogen lighting inside the hood lights the cooking surface and a full-length LED light bar runs across the exterior of the grill.

What are the grates and internal parts made of?

The body is #304 stainless steel and the cooking grates are square stainless steel bar. Flame tamers, burner covers and heat zone separators are also 304 stainless and spread the heat across the grid.

Does the TF25 have a rotisserie burner?

No. The TF25 specification lists the three main burners only. If a rear infrared burner matters to you, the 32" TF32 cart adds a 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner.

How is the hood balanced on a grill this size?

It uses a multi-position balanced hinge, so the hood stays where you leave it and opens with one hand. That matters on a cart grill, where you often have a plate in the other hand.

What is the difference between this and the E Series TFE25?

Both are 25" three-burner carts with 42,000 BTUs and 539 square inches. This TF25 adds interior halogen and exterior LED lighting, square stainless grates, heat zone separators and the removable inset tray. The E Series TFE25 uses 8mm round grates and lists no grill lighting.
