Frequently Asked Questions
How much power does the TFE25 have?
42,000 BTUs total, from three 14,000 BTU #304 stainless steel tube burners.
What is the cooking area?
539 sq. in. total.
The grates themselves measure 22" W x 18" D, which is the working space you are cooking on.
What kind of grates does it use?
8mm round stainless steel cooking grates.
Round rod grates shed drippings more readily than flat bars, which keeps flare-ups down over a long cook.
Does it have lights?
No. This model is listed without grill lighting.
If you cook after dark regularly, plan on island or task lighting above the grill bay.
What are its dimensions?
It measures 24.98" wide, 25.6" deep and 21.6" high.
How does it light?
Flame thrower ignition.
What controls flare-ups?
Stainless steel flame tamers sit over the burners, with heat zone separators between them for even heat.
The separators also mean the three burners behave as three zones rather than blending into one.
Is the whole grill stainless?
It is 100% #304 stainless steel construction, specified for corrosion resistance.
Will the handle get hot?
The handle is knurled and heat resistant.
Is it certified?
The design is ETL certified.
What fuel does it run on?
Natural gas or liquid propane. Check your model designation against the gas supply at your island before you order.
What do I give up compared to the TF25?
The TF25 matches this grill on 42,000 BTUs and 539 sq. in., but adds LED and halogen lighting, cast stainless burners and a warming rack tray.
If lighting and the warming rack do not matter to your cooking, the E Series covers the same heat and the same grate space.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
