What cutout does the TF-DC2-30-A need?
27 3/4" wide x 20 1/2" deep x 19 3/8" high. The unit installs flush into that opening, so cut to those numbers rather than to the 30" face width.
What are the outside dimensions?
30" wide, 20.5" deep and 22" high. The extra width over the cutout is the flange that covers the edge of your island opening.
Which way does the access door swing?
It is right-hinged, with the hinge hidden behind the door face. Check that the swing clears whatever sits to the right of the opening before you frame it in.
What is the access door for?
Reaching your gas connections, power and the rest of the island cavity. That access is not optional on a built-in island; you need a way in for a shutoff or a regulator.
How do the drawers operate?
Two soft-close drawers ride on heavy-duty full-extension tracks with ball-bearing slides. Full extension means the back of the drawer clears the island face when it is open.
Why use a combo instead of a separate door and drawer unit?
One opening does both jobs. A single 27 3/4" cutout gives you daily storage and utility access, which saves you framing and cutting a second opening in the island.

How does it differ from the 32" version?
Layout is identical; the size is not. This unit is 30" wide and drops into a 27 3/4" cutout, while the 32" TF-DC2-32-A is 32" wide and needs a 30 1/4" cutout.
