Encore/Muscle 36" Freestanding Deluxe Grill & Cart Cover
The Encore/Muscle 36" Freestanding Deluxe Grill & Cart Cover (CARTCOV-AMG36) is cut specifically for the 36" Encore, Muscle and Ovation freestanding grills, which is the whole point — a tailored cover sheds water off the hood instead of pooling on it, and does not flap itself to pieces in wind the way a generic cover does. Browse the full range of grill covers from American Made Grills.
Constructed from heavy-duty PVC, fully water-resistant and UV-protected to slow the fading and embrittlement that kills cheap covers after two summers. The material is the part people skip when comparing covers, and it is the part that determines whether you are buying one cover or one every eighteen months.
A freestanding cover has a harder job than a built-in one, because it has to reach the ground and stay there. Everything a built-in cover ignores — the cart drawers, the tank compartment, the caster hardware — is exposed on a cart, and the tank compartment in particular is where standing water causes real problems.
Inside, a soft flannel backing sits against the stainless. This matters more than it sounds: an unlined cover traps grit against the finish and, with enough wind cycles, polishes fine scratches into the hood. The flannel layer is what keeps the stainless looking like stainless.
On a grill at this price point the cover stops being an accessory and starts being basic asset protection. Stainless does not rust, but it does pit, stain and dull under sustained exposure — and a pitted hood is not something you polish back.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which grills does CARTCOV-AMG36 fit?
The 36" Encore, Muscle and Ovation freestanding grills. All three share the 36" cart chassis, so one cover pattern serves them.
Does it reach down over the cart?
Yes — it covers the grill and cart together, down past the drawers, the tank compartment and the caster hardware. A freestanding cover has a harder job than a built-in one because it has to reach the ground and stay there.
Can I use this on a built-in 36" hybrid instead?
No. A built-in installation needs the 36" hybrid built-in cover, which is cut to stop at the counter. This one would leave several feet of loose material hanging over your island.
Why does the tank compartment matter?
It is where standing water causes real problems on a cart grill. Everything a built-in cover ignores is exposed on a freestanding model, and the enclosed tank area holds moisture rather than shedding it.
What is between the cover and the finish?
A soft flannel backing. It keeps windblown grit off the stainless, which is the mechanism that dulls a hood over a few seasons.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
