American Made Grills Alturi 42" Rotisserie Kit
The Alturi 42" Rotisserie Kit (ROTKIT-ALT42-A) is the model-specific spit assembly for the Alturi 42" grill. It pairs with the grill's infrared back burner, which is the half of the system already built into the hood — this kit supplies the other half.
The kit includes a weather-protected stainless steel motor and a spit rod and fork set. Weather protection on the motor is not a detail: it is the component that lives outside, gets rained on and is the usual failure point on cheaper rotisserie hardware.
The 42" spit is the longest in the Alturi range and the one that makes a full rib roast or a row of chickens practical. Length is the constraint on rotisserie cooking far more often than heat is.
Rotisserie cooking is self-basting by design — the meat turns through its own rendered fat rather than sitting in it, which is why a rotisserie chicken has skin a roasting pan cannot match. Sized specifically for the 42" chassis, so the rod length and mounts line up without improvisation. See the rest of our grilling accessories from American Made Grills.

Frequently Asked Questions
What grill is ROTKIT-ALT42-A for?
The Alturi 42" grill. It is the model-specific spit assembly for that chassis, so nothing has to be adapted to fit.
How much can the 42" spit take?
It is the longest spit in the Alturi range and the one that makes a full rib roast or a row of chickens practical. Length is the constraint on rotisserie cooking far more often than heat is.
What is in the box?
A weather-protected stainless steel motor and a spit rod and fork set. The motor is the part that stays outdoors, which is why the weather protection is worth checking on any rotisserie kit.
Does it need the infrared back burner?
It is built to pair with it. The Alturi's back burner supplies the heat from behind while the spit turns the meat through its own rendered fat.
What is it made from?
304 stainless steel throughout, matching the grill it mounts into.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
