American Outdoor Grills T-Series 30" Freestanding Cart Grill (LP or NG)

The AOG T-Series 30" puts American Outdoor Grill's three-burner 30" head on its matching 30CRT-25 portable cart base, so you get 540 sq. in. of primary grilling space and 45,000 BTU without building an island. The grill is 304 stainless steel inside and out, lights without batteries or a power cord, and the cart's side shelves fold down when you need to roll it out of the way.

Same grill head, no masonry: if you are building a permanent outdoor kitchen instead, the built-in AOG30TP propane and AOG30TN natural gas models drop into a 30 1/2" countertop cutout.

Specifications

  • Grill head: T-Series AOG30TP (propane) or AOG30TN (natural gas)
  • Cart: AOG 30CRT-25 portable cart base
  • Main burners: three U-shaped 304 stainless steel burners
  • Total output: 45,000 BTU
  • Cooking area: 540 sq. in. primary (30" x 18" grids) plus a 151 sq. in. warming rack, 691 sq. in. total
  • Ignition: Rapid Light piezo ignition, no batteries or electricity required
  • Cart width: 64 1/8" with both side shelves up, 54 1/4" with one up, 44 1/4" with both folded down
  • Cart base: 34 1/2" W x 21 1/4" D, with the side shelves 36" off the floor
  • Storage: insulated access doors with a propane tank ring inside the cart
  • Construction: 304 stainless steel burners, vaporizer panels, Diamond Sear grids and warming rack; solid brass valves
  • Warranty: limited lifetime on the stainless steel burners

No countertop cutout and no insulating jacket needed. This model is freestanding. Call 843-212-7209 if you want us to confirm clearances for a covered patio or a tight deck corner.

Propane or natural gas

Choose the fuel when you order, because the propane and natural gas versions are different grill heads. The propane cart keeps the cylinder out of sight on a tank ring behind the insulated doors. The natural gas cart runs off your home's gas line so there is no tank to refill; the natural gas hose is sold separately.

The middle size that covers most cooks

Three burners across a 30" firebox give you real zone control in a footprint that still fits most patios: sear over one burner, cook over the middle and hold finished food over a low third. Diamond Sear stainless steel grids retain and radiate heat for faster cooking and well-defined sear marks, and stainless vaporizer panels sit between the burners and the food. An analog thermometer in the hood reads the temperature without lifting the lid, and the removable warming rack adds 151 sq. in. for buns, vegetables or resting meat.

Because ignition is the Rapid Light piezo system, the grill needs no outlet, no batteries and no pilot light. That makes the cart easy to place anywhere on a patio or deck that suits your gas supply.

A cart that moves and folds

The 30CRT-25 cart gives you twin fold-down side shelves for prep space and serving, set at a 36" working height. Fold both down and the cart narrows from 64 1/8" to 44 1/4" wide for storage or a tight corner, or drop just one to fit against a railing. Insulated access doors close off the base for tools and the propane tank.

T-Series or L-Series?

The T-Series has the same three burners, 45,000 BTU and 540 sq. in. primary area as the L-Series 30" cart grill, but leaves out the interior lights, the 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner and the included rotisserie. It also needs no power at the grill. If you will not use those extras, the T-Series saves you paying for them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to build an island for it?

No. This is the freestanding version: the T-Series 30" head comes on AOG's 30CRT-25 portable cart base, so there is no countertop cutout and no insulating jacket to buy.

If you are building a permanent outdoor kitchen instead, the built-in AOG30TP and AOG30TN are the same grill head designed for a 30 1/2" cutout.

How much room does the cart take up?

64 1/8" wide with both side shelves up, 54 1/4" with one shelf up and one down, and 44 1/4" with both folded down. The cart base itself is 34 1/2" wide by 21 1/4" deep, and the shelves sit 36" off the floor.

Measure your patio with the shelves up, since that is how you will cook on it, and call 843-212-7209 if you are fitting it under a covered porch.

How many burners and how much output?

Three U-shaped 304 stainless steel burners producing 45,000 BTUs combined.

That is enough to run a hot searing zone, a medium zone and a low holding zone at the same time.

What is the cooking area?

540 sq. in. of primary grilling space on 30" x 18" grids, plus a 151 sq. in. warming rack, for 691 sq. in. total.

Is it propane or natural gas?

Either, but you choose when you order. The propane version uses the AOG30TP head and the natural gas version uses the AOG30TN head; they are different grills.

The natural gas cart connects to your home's gas line with a hose that is sold separately.

Where does the propane tank go?

Inside the cart. A tank ring holds the cylinder in the base behind the insulated access doors, so it stays secure and out of sight.

Can I fold the side shelves down?

Yes. Both side shelves fold down, which narrows the cart from 64 1/8" to 44 1/4" wide. You can also run with one shelf up and one down at 54 1/4" wide to fit against a wall or railing.

What are the cooking grids made of?

Diamond Sear 304 stainless steel grids, which retain and radiate heat for faster cooking and well-defined sear marks.

Which cover fits it?

The AOC30 30" cart grill vinyl cover, which is cut for the cart.

The AOB30 built-in cover will not fit, because it is made for a grill head sitting in a countertop rather than a full cart.

Does it need electricity or batteries?

No. It lights with AOG's Rapid Light piezo ignition, which needs no batteries, no outlet and no pilot light, and the T-Series has no interior lights to power.

What does the T-Series leave out compared with the L-Series 30 inch?

Interior lights, the 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner and the included rotisserie. Burner count, 45,000 BTUs and 540 sq. in. of primary area are the same on both.

If you want those, the L-Series 30" cart grill is the model with them.

Which T-Series cart size should I choose?

The 24" cart runs two burners at 32,000 BTUs over 432 sq. in. and is 58 1/8" wide with the shelves up. This 30" runs three burners at 45,000 BTUs over 540 sq. in. and is 64 1/8" wide. The 36" cart runs three burners at 50,000 BTUs over 648 sq. in. and is 70 3/8" wide.

Patio space usually settles it first, then how many people you cook for.

What is the warranty?

AOG covers the stainless steel burners with a limited lifetime warranty. Other parts carry shorter terms, so call 843-212-7209 and we will walk you through the full warranty before you order.
