The 26-inch American Eagle is Artisan's most compact grill, and it does not come with a rotisserie. The ART-ROT26 is how you add one. The ART-ROT26 fits the Artisan American Eagle 26" built-in (AAEP-26) and Artisan American Eagle 26" cart (AAEP-26C). Alfresco lists it on the series pages for those grills as "optional", and it is not listed for the Professional line: every Artisan Professional grill already carries a rear infrared rotisserie burner and motor as standard.

Setting it up follows the Artisan care and use manual: the spit's pointed end locks into the square coupler on the motor, its round end rests in the slot on the far side of the firebox, and the two forks slide on with their prongs pointing inward to clamp the food. On a 26-inch grill, center the load on the spit so it turns evenly. The motor carries its own grounded plug, so a cart owner needs an outdoor outlet within cord reach and a built-in owner should have one roughed into the island. The American Eagle has no rear infrared burner — that is a Professional feature — so use the AAEP-26 manual as your guide to rotisserie cooking, and have an electrician confirm the outlet meets local code.
