Coyote 24" Outdoor Refrigerator C124R-S - Reversible Hinge FAQs
What cutout does the C124R-S need?
23.75" wide, 23" deep and 32" high.
Frame the opening to those numbers before the unit arrives. Retrofitting a masonry island afterwards is the expensive way to discover a quarter inch is missing.
How much storage is inside?
5.1 cubic feet.
That is the largest of Coyote's outdoor refrigerators in this group, and enough to keep bottles and platters in the same cabinet.
Can the door be switched to the other side?
Yes. The door is field-reversible, so it installs with either a left- or right-hand swing.
Field-reversible means you can decide during installation rather than at the time of order.
Does it have to be built in?
No. Front-mounted ventilation lets it sit flush in a built-in cabinet opening or stand on its own as a freestanding refrigerator.
That flexibility is useful if the island is a later project and the refrigerator is going on a covered patio in the meantime.
How is the temperature set?
Through a digital display with precise temperature control, backed by a forced-air cooling system.
Forced air is what keeps the interior even from top to bottom, rather than cold at the bottom shelf only.
Do I have to defrost it?
No. It has automatic defrost.
What happens if the door is left ajar?
A door-ajar alarm sounds, which on an outdoor unit is the difference between a warm drink and a full cabinet of spoiled food.
Does it lock?
Yes, there is an integrated lock.
What are the shelves like?
Adjustable stainless steel wire shelving, so the spacing adapts to bottles, cans or platters.
Is there interior lighting?
Yes, bright interior LED lighting.
What is it built from?
304 stainless steel, engineered specifically for outdoor installation. Other sizes are listed under outdoor refrigerators.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
