The AR-24 is part of Alfresco's PolarCore Series, their most advanced line of outdoor cold storage. It packs 5.67 cubic feet into a 24-inch footprint, which makes it the right size for the gap most outdoor kitchen islands actually have to spare, without giving up the performance of a much larger unit.

The headline feature is the variable speed compressor, which modulates between 780 and 1,800 BTUH rather than simply cycling on and off. That means tighter temperature control, quieter operation, and less energy wasted holding a steady 33°F to 50°F. A commercial fan-driven fin evaporator distributes the cold evenly, the Flash Recovery System restores temperature quickly after the door has been open, and automatic defrost means no manual maintenance.

Inside are smooth-gliding, self-closing adjustable roll-out shelves and door-activated LED accent lighting that can be set to multiple colors and intensities. Construction is 304 stainless steel inside and out, and front bottom ventilation means the AR-24 works either built into an island or freestanding. A door lock is included, the door ships hinged on the right and is field-reversible, and the unit is ETL certified.

The AR-24 has a finished stainless steel door. The AR-24PR is panel-ready, meaning you supply a custom overlay panel so the refrigerator disappears into your cabinetry. Internals and performance are identical.

Yes. Front and bottom ventilation means it works either built into an island or standing on its own, unlike units that require a built-in enclosure.
