Alfresco 24" PolarCore Under Counter Refrigerator AR-24PR, Panel Ready
The AR-24PR is the panel-ready version of Alfresco's PolarCore 24-inch outdoor refrigerator. Instead of a finished stainless door, it accepts a custom overlay panel, so the refrigerator disappears into your cabinetry entirely. If you are building an outdoor kitchen where the design intent is continuous cabinet fronts rather than a run of visible appliances, this is the model that makes that possible.
Everything behind the door is identical to the standard AR-24. A variable speed compressor modulates between 780 and 1,800 BTUH rather than cycling on and off, giving tighter temperature control from 33°F to 50°F, quieter operation, and better efficiency. A commercial fan-driven fin evaporator spreads cold evenly, the Flash Recovery System restores temperature quickly after the door has been open, and automatic defrost removes the maintenance chore.
Inside are self-closing adjustable roll-out shelves and door-activated LED accent lighting with multiple color and intensity settings. The cabinet is 304 stainless steel, front and bottom ventilation allows built-in or freestanding installation, a door lock is included, and the unit is ETL certified.

No. Panel-ready means the door is built to receive a custom panel that you or your cabinet maker supply so it matches the surrounding cabinetry.
Alfresco publishes an overlay door installation guide with the panel dimensions and weight limits. Get those numbers to your cabinet maker before the panel is built.
What exactly separates the AR-24PR from the AR-24?
Only the door. Capacity, compressor, temperature range and features are identical between the two.
The standard AR-24 has a finished stainless steel door if continuous cabinet fronts are not your design goal.
