Frequently Asked Questions
What does the glass door change compared with a solid one?
You can read the shelves without opening the door, which keeps the cold in and puts the drinks on display.
The trade is that the contents are always visible, so the inside stays as tidy as you keep it.
Is the glass door reversible too?
Yes. The REFR2D door is stainless steel with a glass front and swings right or left.
What are the cutout dimensions?
23-5/8" wide, 32-1/2" high and 23" deep.
Build the opening to those numbers, not to the cabinet size, and check the depth against your island framing.
How big is the unit?
23-7/16" wide by 22-3/4" deep by 32-1/16" high, with leg levelers underneath for setting it level in the opening.
How many shelves are inside, and can they move?
Three wire shelves, all adjustable, inside 5.01 cubic feet.
What temperatures can I set?
32°F to 72°F through digital temperature control.
Set it near the bottom of the range for food, higher if it is holding beverages you do not want ice-cold.
Is there a lock on the glass door?
Yes, the door locks and two keys are included.
Does it need manual defrosting?
No, auto defrost is included, along with interior LED lighting that shows through the glass front.
Can it go in an outdoor kitchen?
Yes. It is UL rated for outdoor use, with 304 stainless steel construction and 120V / 60 Hz power.
Should I pick the glass door or the solid stainless version?
Capacity, cutout and features are identical; only the door differs. Glass shows the contents, and solid stainless blends into a run of stainless doors and drawers.
The solid door REFR2C is the same refrigerator otherwise, so you can swap the decision without redoing the island opening.
Is there a trim kit if the opening is not finished?
Yes, a trim kit for REFR2C and REFR2D refrigerators covers this model.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
