Powering the cooking surface are five Infinity burners made from 304 cast stainless steel, delivering a combined 100,000 BTUs of precise, even heat for fast preheating and consistent, high-performance searing.
With 1,247 square inches of total cooking capacity—990 square inches of primary grilling area plus a 257-square-inch secondary rack—this grill handles everything from intimate dinners to large gatherings with ease. 39 1/2" W x 10 1/4" H x 20 1/2" D. The grill overall is 42" W x 23" H x 25 1/2" D, so it laps over the opening and sits on the island top.
Framing to the overall dimensions instead of the cutout is the most common outdoor kitchen mistake, and on a 42-inch unit it is an expensive one to correct.
How many burners and what is the total output?
Five Infinity burners made from 304 cast stainless steel, delivering 100,000 BTUs combined. There is also a rear burner for the rotisserie.
How much can it cook at once?
1,247 square inches of total capacity: 990 square inches of main grilling area plus a 257 square inch secondary rack. The main cooking grid measures 39 7/8" x 17 1/4".
The secondary rack is where you hold finished food or run indirect heat while the main grid stays hot.
Can I run different temperature zones?
Yes. Heat zone separators sit between the burners so you can hold distinct temperatures across the grid instead of letting heat drift between sections.
Does the hood stay open on its own?

Yes. The rotisserie kit is included with the C3CL42 and works with the rear burner already fitted to the grill.
Can I see the controls at night?
Internal and external grill lighting is standard, and the control panel is smudge-proof, which keeps fingerprints off the most-handled surface on the grill.

Both. C3CL42NG is the natural gas build and C3CL42LP is the propane build. Match the model code to your supply when you order.
