RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. What is included in the VDCL1?
Three compartments in one unit: two enclosed drawers for tools and utensils, plus a dedicated open drawer that houses an LP bottle. It is a combination unit, so one opening handles both storage and your propane tank.
What cutout does it need?
Frame an opening 30-1/2" wide by 20-3/4" deep by 19-1/2" high. Get the depth right first — 20-3/4" is what the propane drawer needs to travel.
How does the propane drawer work?
It is an open drawer sized to house an LP bottle, so the tank rolls out with the drawer instead of being reached for inside a cabinet. Check your bottle's diameter and height against the opening before you commit.

How is it constructed?
The body is insulated with a 304 stainless steel lid. The two storage drawers are enclosed, so they stay separated from the propane compartment.
Are the drawers soft-close?
Yes, the VDCL1 uses soft-close drawer glides. That applies to the drawer action you will use most often, day to day, on the enclosed drawers.
How does it compare to the plain double drawer?
The VDR1 gives you two enclosed drawers in a 15" wide cutout with no tank provision. The VDCL1 needs twice the width at 30-1/2" but eliminates a separate tank cabinet.
Does it line up with the other 30-1/2" Valiant units?
Its cutout width matches the Valiant double access door and the dry pantry, all of which use a 30-1/2" opening. If you are laying out an island in repeating bays, that consistency makes the framing simpler.
