RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. How much fuel does the VDCP1 hold?
It carries up to 24 pounds, held in a removable plastic bin. That is roughly a bag of charcoal or pellets kept at the grill instead of in the garage.
What cutout does it need?
Plan an opening 11-1/2" wide by 25-1/4" deep by 24" high. It is a narrow, tall unit, so it fits into a slot beside a grill or door rather than needing a wide run of cabinet.
Can it hold pellets as well as charcoal?
Yes, it is built as a dedicated charcoal caddy or pellet store. The removable bin is what makes it work for both, since you can lift it out and swap fuel without cleaning out the drawer body.
Will my fuel stay dry in it?
The drawer is fully enclosed, which is what keeps fuel contained and dry between cooks. Pellets in particular do not survive damp storage, so an enclosed drawer matters more for them than for lump charcoal.
What is the construction?
Double-lined 304 stainless steel, with a removable plastic bin inside. The plastic bin takes the abrasion from fuel so the stainless drawer does not.
Do I need this if I have the kamado drawer?
The VLSD1 kamado drawer also stores charcoal, but its drawer is general storage under a 600 lb deck. The VDCP1 is fuel-only, with a bin rated to 24 lb and a much narrower 11-1/2" opening.
