Frequently Asked Questions
What size opening do I build for the AMD-RFR-15S?
15 5/8" W x 23 1/2" D x 34 3/8" H.
This is the same opening used by TrueFlame's other 15-inch outdoor units, so a 15-inch bay in an existing island is a straight swap.
What is the storage capacity?
3.2 cu. ft., with dual drawers and four chrome shelves inside.
What are the exterior dimensions?
14.9" W x 23.4" D x 34" H.
What is the door made of?
304 stainless steel, along with the handle.
That grade is what handles rain, humidity and salt air on an exposed island better than a lower-grade panel.
What temperature range does it maintain?
32° to 50°F, controlled electronically with a digital display readout.
Does it lock?
Yes, the door has a lock.
Where does it vent?
Out the front, which is why it can be fully enclosed in masonry or cabinetry.
Is defrosting manual?
No. The unit runs auto-defrost.
Can I install this in a commercial space?
Its UL outdoor rating covers both residential and commercial settings.
Solid door or glass door for an outdoor kitchen?
A solid 304 stainless door keeps light off the contents and matches surrounding stainless doors and drawers. The glass-door version carries the same 3.2 cu. ft. capacity if you would rather see inside.
Both use an identical cutout, so this decision is purely about appearance and visibility.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
