What cutout does the AMD-RFR-22D need?

22" wide x 23 1/2" deep x 33 3/4" high. The cabinet itself measures 21.4" x 21.4" x 33.5", so the opening leaves clearance on every side.

Can I change which side the door opens from?

Yes. The door is reversible in the field, so you can set the swing after the unit is on site and next to the grill. It locks as well.

Does it need clearance behind it?

It vents from the front, which is what allows it to sit in a closed island cutout. A refrigerator that vents from the back cannot go into a sealed masonry opening without cooking itself.

Is it actually rated for outdoors?

It carries UL-outdoor certification and is rated to stay compliant across a 32 to 72 degree Fahrenheit range. That rating is about the ambient air around the unit, so it is worth checking against your climate.

What is the interior like?
