RCS is proud to provide the industry’s most comprehensive warranty.
All RCS American Renaissance Grills, Cutlass Pro Series Grills and Cutlass Pro Series side burners, sinks, briquette trays, as well as ALL doors and drawers are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the original owner.
All RCS Premier Series Grills and Premier Series Side Burners are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 15 years to the original owner.
All RCS Refrigeration products are warrantied to be free from manufacturer defects for 7 years to the original owner.
All other products carry a one-year warranty to the original owner.
This RCS warranty is effective for product sales beginning April 14th, 2025.

This warranty excludes normal surface corrosion, discoloration, surface scratches and surface rust which may occur. Improper maintenance, salt spray, chemicals, pesticides will affect the look and integrity of the components of these products. RCS will not be responsible for any damage caused as a result of not following owner’s manual instructions. This non-transferrable warranty is limited to the replacement of original (one-time) defective parts, does not include shipping and labor to remove or install replacement parts, if necessary. The owner must retain and submit their original receipt with any warranty claim to receive warranty parts. The warranty applies to the original owner only. Can it hold reds and whites at the same time?
Yes, that is the point of the two zones. The upper zone runs 39.2°F to 53.6°F and the lower zone runs 53.6°F to 71.6°F, controlled independently.
Whites and sparkling go up top, reds sit below at serving temperature instead of being chilled down with everything else.
What shelving does the RWC1 use?
Four wooden shelves, shaped to cradle bottles rather than let them roll on wire.
What cutout do I need for it?
15-1/4" wide by 24" deep by 34-1/4" high.
How much room does the unit itself take?

Which way does the door swing?
Right, and it is not reversible on this model.
Check that against your layout before framing, because unlike the RCS refrigerators this one cannot be flipped later.
Is the door glass or stainless?
Both. It is a 304 stainless steel door with a 15" glass window, so the bottles show through while the frame matches surrounding stainless.
Can I see the bottles at night?
Dual interior lights handle that, which is what makes the glass window useful after dark.
Does it lock?
Yes. The door locks, which matters for a cabinet holding wine in an open backyard.
Is it built for outdoor use?
Yes, the RWC1 is UL certified for outdoor use, with a 304 stainless steel door.
An indoor wine fridge dropped into an island is not the same thing, and outdoor rating is the specification to check.
What electrical does it need?

How does it compare with the RCS 15" refrigerator?
Same 3.2 cu. ft. capacity and the same cutout, so the two are interchangeable in an island opening. This one adds a second temperature zone and wooden bottle shelves; the 15" REFR5 refrigerator uses can shelves and a single temperature setting.
A trim kit covering the RWC1 is available if the unit is not going into a finished island opening.
