Tame gusty conditions with the TrueFlame 48" Stainless Steel Wind Guard (TFWG-48). Built from durable 304 stainless steel, it blocks wind from entering the rear of your grill to prevent uneven cooking and protect sensitive electrical components in breezes of up to 25 MPH.
Measuring 48"W x 12"D x 20"H, this weather-resistant guard mounts into your existing cutout or insulated grill jacket for a straightforward installation. The 304 stainless steel construction resists corrosion and wipes clean easily, standing up to the elements season after season.
Compatible with: TrueFlame 36", 40", and 44" grills (fits 36"-44" grill heads).

TrueFlame 48" Stainless Steel Wind Guard - Fits 36" to 44" Grills
Frequently Asked Questions
What grill sizes does this fit?
TrueFlame 36", 40" and 44" grill heads. The 48" in the name is the guard's own width, so it suits a 40" built-in grill and its neighbours in that range, not a 48" grill.
What are the measurements?
48" wide, 12" deep, 20" high. The 12" depth is the number to check against your island, since it sets how far the guard sits behind the grill head.
Does it need its own cutout?
No. It mounts into the existing cutout or insulated grill jacket, which keeps the installation straightforward on a completed island.
What wind conditions is it rated for?
Breezes up to 25 MPH. It stops wind entering the rear of the grill, which is where gusts cause uneven cooking and get at the electrical components.
Is stainless the right choice for a permanent outdoor fixture?
This one is 304 stainless steel, and it wipes clean season after season. For a 30" or 32" grill head, the 36" wind guard is the correct size.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
