Alfresco's tailored vinyl cover for the AXEVP Versa Power cooker. Black weather-resistant vinyl with the Alfresco script on the front, cut to the cooker rather than draped over it.
The Versa Power is the appliance in an outdoor kitchen most worth covering. Its spider grate sits above an open burner face designed to take everything from a saucepan to a 100-quart stock pot, and that open architecture is exactly what catches rain, leaves and grit when nothing is cooking on it.
Alfresco specifies this cover for the AXEVP, and that is the fit we will stand behind.
The question we get is about the Intelligent Professional version. Alfresco does not publish a separate cover for the Intelligent-series burners — AGV-VERSA is the only Versa Power cover in the range — and the AIPGVP is the same 400 to 65,000 BTU burner in a different control package rather than a different body. So it very probably fits. We have not had that confirmed by Alfresco in writing, so call 843-212-7209 and we will confirm before you order.
If your Versa Power sits on one of Alfresco's optional carts rather than in an island, tell us that too — the cover is cut for the cooker, not for a cart assembly.
Let the cooker cool completely first. A Versa Power at 65,000 BTU holds heat in its burner castings long after the knobs are off, and covering it warm traps steam under the vinyl.
Vinyl is water-resistant rather than waterproof, which is the honest description for a cover of this type. It sheds rain and keeps grit, pollen and salt spray off the stainless — which on a coastal install is most of the job. Wipe the cover down occasionally for the same reason.
We are a family-owned outdoor kitchen retailer in Charleston, South Carolina, where salt air and afternoon thunderstorms are the real test of a cover. Covers are the easiest thing in this catalog to order for the wrong model, so we would rather confirm your cooker first than process a return.

Frequently Asked Questions
Alfresco specifies it for the AXEVP 24" Versa Power cooker, in either natural gas or propane.
It is tailored to that cooker, not a universal cover.
Very probably, but call 843-212-7209 first and we will confirm.
Alfresco publishes no separate cover for the Intelligent-series burners, and the AIPGVP is the same 400 to 65,000 BTU burner in a different control package rather than a different body. We just have not had the fit confirmed in writing, and a cover that stops short is useless.
The cover is cut for the cooker itself, not for a cart assembly.
If yours sits on one of Alfresco's optional carts, tell us when you order and we will check what actually covers the setup.
Weather-resistant vinyl, in black, with the Alfresco script on the front.
Water-resistant, which is the honest description for a vinyl cover of this type.
It sheds rain and keeps grit, pollen and salt spray off the stainless steel. That is most of the job on a coastal install; it is not a sealed membrane.
No. Let it cool completely first.
A burner running to 65,000 BTU holds heat in its castings long after the knobs are off, and covering it warm traps steam under the vinyl.
Because it has no lid of its own.
A grill closes its hood over the cooking surface. The Versa Power's spider grate sits above an open burner face, so rain, leaves and grit fall straight onto the burner and into the tray below.
It is cut for the cooker as it normally sits, with the spider grate and removable trivet in position.
If you store the trivet separately the cover simply sits a little looser, which does no harm.
Wipe it down with mild soap and water and let it dry before it goes back on. Doing that occasionally gets the salt off, which is what shortens a cover's life on the coast.
Yes, if the island has one. The side burner cover is a different part — the AGV-SB2.
The full range is in our grill covers collection, and fit and care questions are answered in the grill covers FAQs.
Check the model number on the data plate, or call 843-212-7209 and describe the control panel. The Intelligent AIPGVP has knobs ringed with coloured LumaTouch lighting; the AXE-series AXEVP does not.
