Alfresco 26" Under Counter Ice Drawer & Beverage Center AXE-ID
The Alfresco AXE-ID turns unused cabinet space into a dedicated bar station. It is a fully insulated 26-inch drawer that slides into your outdoor kitchen island, holding ice, bottles, and garnishes below the counter instead of taking up prep space above it. For anyone who has spent a party walking back to the kitchen for ice, it solves a real problem.
Inside, an NSF-certified 6-inch deep stainless pan holds up to 32 pounds of ice, roughly three 10-pound bags. Four removable condiment pans plus dedicated bottle and glass storage let you set up a full cocktail station, and every component lifts out without tools if you would rather run the whole drawer as one large ice bin. One inch of foam insulation on both the housing and the drawer face, sealed by a magnetic rubber gasket, keeps that ice intact far longer than an open cooler would.
Construction is heavy-duty 304 stainless steel throughout, riding on drawer glides rated to 150 pounds, so a fully loaded drawer still opens smoothly. A built-in drain keeps ice from sitting in meltwater.

How much ice does the AXE-ID hold?
Up to 32 pounds, in the included NSF-certified stainless pan, which is 6 inches deep. That works out to roughly three standard 10-pound bags.
Is it refrigerated, and does it need power?
No to both. The AXE-ID is an insulated ice drawer rather than a powered refrigerator, so there is no electrical connection to run out to the island. It holds cold using ice plus insulation.
If you want cold storage that works without ice, look at outdoor refrigerators instead.
Does it need a drain?
Yes. Meltwater and condensation leave the unit continuously, so a drain line is part of the installation. The unit has a built-in drain and Alfresco recommends a minimum 1-inch line run through the counter.
Settle this before the island is closed up. It is not something to solve after the countertop is on.
