This is the premium cover for a 42-inch Alfresco mounted on a cart, spanning both the grill head and the cart body. A freestanding 42-inch grill presents a lot of stainless to the weather with nothing shielding it, which is exactly the case for the better material.

Woven textured PVC leather with a felt-lined interior, treated with an anti-freeze agent for cold resistance to minus 25 degrees Celsius. It stays supple through hard freezes rather than stiffening and tearing at stress points, and the felt lining keeps the cover from abrading the finish over years of daily use.

Does it fit both standard and deluxe carts?
Alfresco's standard (XE-42C) and deluxe (XE-42CD) carts share the same footprint and differ in door and drawer configuration. Send us your cart model if you want that confirmed before ordering.

Does it fit a built-in grill?
No. This is cut for the grill plus cart body. For a built-in grill head use the AGV-42-PREM.

Is the premium worth it over the vinyl?
In cold climates, yes. Standard vinyl stiffens and can crack through repeated freezes, while this material is rated to minus 25 degrees Celsius. In mild climates the standard AGV-42C protects perfectly well for less.
