Alfresco Premium Cover for 42" Built-In Grill AGV-42-PREM
On a 42-inch Alfresco, the grill is the centerpiece of the kitchen and stays visible whether it is in use or not. The premium cover is built accordingly: woven textured PVC leather with a felt-lined interior, treated with an anti-freeze agent that keeps it cold-resistant to minus 25 degrees Celsius.
That cold rating is the practical argument. Standard vinyl goes stiff and can crack through repeated hard freezes; this material stays flexible, so it keeps sealing properly through winters rather than tearing at the corners. The felt interior protects the stainless finish from abrasion every time the cover goes on and off, which on a grill of this value is worth having.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between this and the AGV-42 vinyl cover?
Material and cold rating. The AGV-42 is water-resistant high-density canvas vinyl. The AGV-42-PREM is woven textured PVC leather with a felt interior, anti-freeze treated to minus 25 degrees Celsius.
Why does the felt lining matter?
It is the surface that touches your grill. A cover goes on and off hundreds of times over its life, and a felt interior does that without abrading the stainless. On a 42-inch grill that anchors the kitchen visually, scuffing is not a small thing.
Does it fit both the ALXE-42 and the AIPG-42?
Alfresco lists AGV-42-PREM as the premium cover for its 42-inch built-in grills. Because Alfresco builds more than one 42-inch model, read the model designation off your grill and match it before ordering rather than going by width alone.
Is there a version for a cart grill?
Yes, the AGV-42C-PREM. This one stops at the grill head, so on a cart it would leave the body below exposed.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
