Alfresco Vinyl Cover for Double Side Burner AGV-SB2
Alfresco's tailored vinyl cover for the AXESB-2 built-in dual side burner. Black weather-resistant vinyl with the Alfresco script on the front, cut to the burner rather than thrown over it.
A side burner is a worse candidate for going uncovered than the grill next to it. The burner wells are recessed, which is what shields the flames from wind in use — and the same recess collects rain, leaves and grit when the burner is idle. Anything that lands in a burner well sits directly on the ports.

Will it fit my burner?
Alfresco specifies this cover for the AXESB-2, and that is the fit we will stand behind. Three questions come up constantly, and here are the honest answers:
The Intelligent Professional AIPGSB-2. Alfresco does not publish a separate cover for the Intelligent-series burners — AGV-SB2 is the only double side burner cover in the range — and the AIPGSB-2 shares its burner body with the AXESB-2, differing in the control package rather than the shell. So it very probably fits. We have not had that confirmed by Alfresco in writing, so call 843-212-7209 and we will confirm before you order rather than guess on your behalf.
The Sear Zone AXESZ. Some dealers list AGV-SB2 as covering the Sear Zone side burner as well; others list it for the AXESB-2 only. Same answer — call and we will check.
Cart-mounted burners. If your side burner is bolted to a cart grill rather than dropped into an island, you are usually better served by a cover that goes over the whole grill and burner together. See the -CSB cart covers, for example the AGV-36CSB.
Using it well
Let the burner cool completely before covering it. Covering while warm traps steam under the vinyl, and on a recessed burner top that moisture has nowhere to go.
Vinyl is water-resistant rather than waterproof, which is the honest description for a cover of this type. It sheds rain and keeps grit, pollen and salt spray off stainless steel — which on a Charleston install is most of the job. Wipe the cover itself down now and then for the same reason.

Why buy from Northwoods Grills
We are a family-owned outdoor kitchen retailer in Charleston, South Carolina, where salt air and afternoon thunderstorms are the actual test of a cover. Covers are also the easiest thing in this catalog to order for the wrong model, so we would rather confirm your burner first than process a return on a $105 part.
Free shipping, no credit card fees, more in our grill covers FAQs and side burner FAQs, and coverage terms on the warranty information page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which burner does the AGV-SB2 cover fit?
Alfresco specifies it for the AXESB-2 built-in dual side burner, in either natural gas or propane.
It is tailored to that burner, not a universal cover.
Will the AGV-SB2 fit my Intelligent Professional AIPGSB-2?
Very probably, but call 843-212-7209 first and we will confirm.
Alfresco publishes no separate cover for the Intelligent-series burners, and the AIPGSB-2 shares its burner body with the AXESB-2 — the difference is the control package, not the shell. We just have not had it confirmed in writing, and we would rather check than have you return a cover.
Does it fit the Sear Zone side burner?
Dealers list it both ways, so we will not claim it either way.
Some catalogues describe AGV-SB2 as the cover for the double side burner or the Sear Zone AXESZ; others list it for the AXESB-2 only. Call 843-212-7209 and we will confirm with Alfresco before you order.
My side burner is on a cart grill. Do I want this cover?
Usually not. A cart-mounted burner is part of the grill assembly, so a cover that goes over the whole grill and burner together protects more.
That is what the -CSB cart covers are for — for example the AGV-36CSB for a 36" cart grill with a side burner fitted.
What is the AGV-SB2 made of?
Weather-resistant vinyl, in black, with the Alfresco script on the front.
Is it waterproof?
Water-resistant, which is the honest description for a vinyl cover of this type.
It sheds rain and keeps grit, pollen and salt spray off the stainless steel. That is most of the job on a coastal install; it is not a sealed membrane.
Can I put it on straight after cooking?
No. Let the burner cool completely first.
Covering a warm burner traps steam under the vinyl, and on a recessed burner top that moisture has nowhere to go.
Do I really need to cover a side burner?
More than you need to cover the grill next to it, in our experience.
The recessed wells that shield the flames from wind also collect rain, leaves and grit when the burner is idle, and whatever lands in a well sits directly on the burner ports.
Does the burner not come with a cover already?
The AXESB-2 includes a stainless steel lid that sits over the recessed top. That is a different thing from this vinyl cover, which goes over the whole burner including the control panel.
Plenty of owners use both.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it down with mild soap and water and let it dry before it goes back on. Doing that occasionally also gets the salt off, which is what shortens a cover's life on the coast.
What other Alfresco covers are there?
The full range is in our grill covers collection, and fit and care questions across the range are answered in the grill covers FAQs.
How do I know which burner I have?
Check the model number on the data plate, or call 843-212-7209 and describe the control knobs. The Intelligent burners have knobs ringed with coloured LumaTouch lighting; the AXE-series burners have plain accent lights.

I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
