The standard weather cover for Alfresco's AXE-PZA countertop pizza oven, cut to the oven rather than thrown over it. Water-resistant vinyl, tailored fit.
A pizza oven is a worse candidate for going uncovered than a grill is. The ceramic hearth and ceiling slabs sit inside a chamber that is open at the front, so wind-driven rain and debris get in through the door opening rather than just sitting on a lid. Covering it between cooks keeps the hearth dry, which matters the next time you run it to 1,000°F.

Standard vinyl or premium?
Across Alfresco's cover line the standard tier is water-resistant vinyl and the premium tier is a woven textured PVC leather with a felt-lined interior. The AGV-PZA-PREM is the premium version of this cover.
For most Charleston-area installs the vinyl cover is the sensible buy. The premium tier earns its money in climates with hard freezes, where a stiffened cover cracks at the folds, and where the cover is visible enough that you care how it looks.
Will it fit my oven on a cart?
Alfresco lists this cover for the countertop oven. Some dealers also describe it as the cover for the freestanding oven, which suggests it may suit the oven on a cart as well — but we have not confirmed that with Alfresco, and a cover that stops six inches short is useless.

Is it waterproof?
Water-resistant. That is the honest description for vinyl covers of this type — it sheds rain and keeps the oven dry in normal weather, but it is not a sealed membrane.
Does it protect against salt air?
It keeps salt spray and grit off the stainless, which is the main thing on a coastal install. Wiping the cover itself down periodically is worth doing for the same reason.
