American Made Grills Alturi 36" Freestanding Grill Cart
The Alturi 36" Freestanding Grill Cart (CART-ALT36) turns the Alturi 36" grill head into a complete freestanding grill without an island, a slab or a contractor. Built from #304 stainless steel to match the grill it carries, it is the same base American Made Grills uses for its factory-assembled Alturi freestanding models. Browse the rest of our cart grills.
This is the Deluxe door and two-drawer combo cart — a full-height door on one side and a pair of drawers on the other, so tools, foil, rubs and the gas supply all live under the grill instead of in the garage. Side shelves give you landing space either side of the hood, which is the single thing people miss most when they cook off a bare grill head.
The 36" cart is the one most people end up with, because it pairs the volume grill size with a door-and-two-drawer combo front that actually holds tools, foil, rubs and a tank without a separate cabinet.
Sold here as the cart alone, which is worth knowing: AMG only lists it bundled with the grill. If you already own the ALT36T head, or you are replacing a base rather than a grill, this is the part you need. Covered by the Gold Standard lifetime warranty on stainless steel carts, with door and drawer hardware carrying a 3-year limited warranty.

American Made Grills Cart for Alturi 36" Grill ALT36
Frequently Asked Questions
What storage does the Alturi 36 cart have?
A Deluxe door and two-drawer combo front: a full-height door on one side and a pair of drawers on the other. Tools, foil, rubs and the gas supply all live under the grill rather than in the garage.
Which head is it built for?
The Alturi 36" built-in grill head, model ALT36T. See the Alturi 36" built-in grill for the unit that sits on it.
Am I buying a grill or just the base?
Just the base. American Made Grills lists this cart only as part of a bundle; sold separately here, it covers the case where you already own the ALT36T or need to replace the base under a grill you are keeping.
How many drawers are there?
Two, alongside the single full-height door. That is the difference between this cart and the 30-inch version, which uses a plain cabinet instead.
Does it include side shelves?
Yes. Shelves flank the hood on both sides and give you somewhere to set a tray down, which a bare grill head does not.
What material is the cart?
304 stainless steel, chosen to match the grill's own finish and hardware, and built to stay outside.
Why do most Alturi buyers end up at 36 inches?
It pairs the volume grill size with a storage front that actually holds tools, foil, rubs and a tank without adding a separate cabinet. Compare the other cart grills if you are between sizes.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
