American Made Grills Cart for Hybrid 42"
The American Made Grills Cart for Hybrid 42" (CART-AMG42) takes a built-in grill head and makes it freestanding — the same grill, the same cooking, without pouring an island. For a patio you may reconfigure, a rental, or a first phase before the masonry happens, the cart is the sensible route. Built from commercial grade #304 stainless steel to match the grill it carries. See our full range of cart grills from American Made Grills.
The hybrid carts carry a feature the gas carts do not need: a large storage drawer divided by stainless steel fuel partitions, sized for charcoal and hardwood. Cooking on a hybrid grill means keeping solid fuel to hand, dry, and separated by type — and the cart is where that lives. Above it sit two accessory drawers on soft-close hardware, a folding side shelf and a cutting board, plus a dedicated pullout for the propane tank.
At 42 inches the cart gains real counter surface beside the grill, which is the thing freestanding setups usually lack. Between the folding shelf and the cutting board you get somewhere to actually land a tray, instead of balancing it on the hood.
Ventilation runs through the sides, rear and base. That is not a comfort feature — a sealed cabinet under a running grill traps heat and, on propane installations, is a genuine safety issue. The cart is built to move air through the enclosure continuously.
Arrives fully assembled, which on a stainless cart of this size saves a weekend and a lot of swearing. Made in America and backed by the American Made Grills Gold Standard lifetime warranty on stainless steel construction, workmanship and materials, with 3 years on hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions
What heads does the Hybrid 42 cart take?
42" Encore, Muscle and Ovation hybrid grill heads. The Ovation 42" hybrid built-in is one of the three it is designed to carry.
How much work surface do I get?
At 42 inches the cart gains real counter space beside the grill. Between the folding side shelf and the cutting board there is somewhere to land a tray instead of balancing it on the hood, which is the thing freestanding setups usually lack.
How is solid fuel handled?
A large storage drawer with stainless steel fuel dividers keeps charcoal and hardwood dry, separated by type and within reach of the grill. It is the feature the gas carts in the range do not carry.
How many drawers are there in total?
The divided fuel drawer, two accessory drawers on soft-close hardware, and a separate pullout for the propane tank.
Is it ventilated?
Side, rear and bottom vents move air through the cabinet continuously. With a tank inside and heat coming off the grill above, that airflow matters more than the storage layout does.
Does it roll?
It runs on a mix of locking and non-locking caster wheels, and there is a cart handle on the body along with a towel holder.
What is the construction?
Commercial grade 304 stainless steel construction throughout, built in the USA. Compare the other American Made Grills carts.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
