The Primo Half Drip Pan Oval XX-Large is the half-size pan for the biggest Primo Oval. It sits under the food and above the fire, taking the fat and juices that come off a full load.
Scale is the reason it matters here. A grate packed with ribs, shoulders or birds renders a great deal more than a couple of steaks, and every bit of it either goes into a pan or onto the coals and the ceramic. Caught, it lifts out at the end. Not caught, it flares during the cook and stays behind afterwards. Keeping it a half pan is deliberate: you shield and catch on one zone while the other stays open, which is how most people actually run a grill this size.
It rests on the Primo Heat Deflector Rack/Drip Pan Rack for Oval XX-Large. Underneath, the Primo Heat Deflector Plates for Oval XX-Large block the fire's heat and the Primo Cast Iron Firebox Divider for Oval XX-Large keeps the charcoal where you lit it. Cut for the Primo Oval XX-Large ceramic charcoal grill, including the Oval XX-Large All-In-One package.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this drip pan fit my Primo Oval XX-Large?
Yes, this is the XX-Large pan. Drip pans are cut to the grill they sit in, so a pan from a smaller Oval will not cover the right area here and will let drippings past. Order the pan named for the grill you own.
Why only a half pan on a grill this size?
Because covering the whole cooking bed is rarely the goal. A half pan catches drips under the food you are shielding while leaving the rest of the grate free for direct cooking, which is how a two-zone setup works on a long Oval firebox.
Can I run two zones with it?
That is what it is shaped for. Put the pan over one part of the grill and keep the other side open above the fire, and you have somewhere to cook slowly and somewhere to sear. The Primo Cast Iron Firebox Divider for Oval XX-Large holds the fire on the open side while you do it.
What should I do with what collects in the pan?
Pour it off once the cook is over. Juices from a roast are worth keeping for gravy or a sauce, and anything you do not want simply goes in the bin along with the pan's contents rather than baked onto the inside of your grill.
Do I need the deflector rack to use this pan?
You need something to hold it above the fire, and on this grill that is the Primo Heat Deflector Rack/Drip Pan Rack for Oval XX-Large. The rack is the frame that carries either a drip pan or a deflector plate, and it is sold as a separate listing from both.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
