This hinge and handle kit fits the Post-2015 Primo Oval X-Large and nothing else. Primo used one hinge design before 2015 and another after it, and the wrong era will not mount, which makes the age of your grill the first thing to establish and its size the second.
Three parts make up the kit: the hinge, the bands and the handle. An X-Large carries a big dome, and every time you open and close it during a cook that weight runs through the hinge, while every lift puts it through the handle. Do I need the Post-2015 or the Pre-2015 hinge kit for my Primo Oval X-Large?
This is the post-2015 one. If your X-Large dates from before 2015 you want the Pre-2015 Oval X-Large hinge and handle kit instead, because the two designs do not interchange and there is no adapting one to the other. Establish the grill's age before you order rather than after the box arrives.
What does the kit include?
The hinge, the bands and the handle, which is the complete set of hardware that clamps the ceramic and swings the dome.
