This kit is for Pre-2015 Primo Oval X-Large grills. Primo's earlier and later X-Large grills take different hinge hardware, and the two are not interchangeable, so the question to answer before you buy is not which size you own but which generation.
A ceramic grill outlasts most of the metal bolted to it, which is precisely why this listing exists. An X-Large that has been in the yard since before 2015 can be entirely sound in the ceramic and still need the hardware that carries the dome renewed. The kit supplies the hinge, the bands that clamp the two ceramic halves, and the handle.
The signs are usually gradual: a lid that no longer stays where you leave it, a handle that has started to wobble, or a dome that closes with a gap you can see. How do I tell if my Primo Oval X-Large is a pre-2015 grill?
