RCS Insulating Liner Jacket for 42in Cutlass Pro RON42B
Frequently Asked Questions
What island opening does the LJRON42 need?
47-1/2 in. wide by 11-3/4 in. high by 21-1/4 in. deep. Frame to those figures; the 42-inch in the grill's name refers to the head, not the hole.
Which grill is it for?
The RCS Cutlass Pro 42-inch built-in grill series, model RON42B.
That is the Cutlass Pro RON42B built-in grill on our site.
When does RCS require this jacket?
Whenever the Cutlass Pro grill is installed in a combustible wooden island or enclosure. The jacket creates the insulated barrier between the grill and that structure.
What does it protect against exactly?
It surrounds the grill cavity and shields nearby wood framing from the heat produced while you cook, which is the failure point in an unlined combustible island.
What is it built from?
Heavy-duty stainless steel that resists corrosion and holds up to years of outdoor use rather than degrading against the framing.
Does the 38-inch Cutlass Pro liner fit the 42?
No. The 42-inch jacket needs a 47-1/2 in. wide opening, several inches more than the 38-inch version, so the two are not interchangeable. Other sizes are in grill insulating liners.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
