Alfresco 30" Insulated Jacket AIJ-30-01
An insulated jacket is not an optional upgrade if you are building your island out of anything combustible. Alfresco's AIJ-30-01 is the manufacturer-specified liner for installing a 30-inch Alfresco grill or the 30-inch dual-zone griddle into a wood-framed, composite, or otherwise combustible enclosure. It creates the thermal barrier between the grill body and your island structure that the installation manual requires.
Beyond code compliance, the jacket protects your investment on both sides. It shields framing, cabinetry, and adjacent finishes from sustained grill heat, and it gives the grill a clean, purpose-built enclosure rather than an improvised one. It is built from stainless steel to the same standard as the grill it surrounds, so it will not become the weak point of the installation.
