Alfresco 30" Insulated Jacket AIJ-30-01
An insulated jacket is not an optional upgrade if you are building your island out of anything combustible. Alfresco's AIJ-30-01 is the manufacturer-specified liner for installing a 30-inch Alfresco grill or the 30-inch dual-zone griddle into a wood-framed, composite, or otherwise combustible enclosure. It creates the thermal barrier between the grill body and your island structure that the installation manual requires.
Beyond code compliance, the jacket protects your investment on both sides. It shields framing, cabinetry, and adjacent finishes from sustained grill heat, and it gives the grill a clean, purpose-built enclosure rather than an improvised one. It is built from stainless steel to the same standard as the grill it surrounds, so it will not become the weak point of the installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an insulated jacket for my 30-inch Alfresco?
You need one if the island is built from combustible materials such as a wood or composite frame. If the island is fully non-combustible masonry, a jacket may not be required.
Confirm against Alfresco's installation manual and your local building code before the island is framed, not after.
Which appliances does the AIJ-30-01 fit?
Alfresco's 30-inch grills and the 30-inch griddle. It is sized to that 30-inch body specifically.
Would a 36-inch jacket work on a 30-inch grill?
No. Match the jacket width to the grill width exactly. The 36-inch, 42-inch and 56-inch grills each take their own jacket.
Does the jacket change the cutout I have to frame?
Yes. A jacketed installation needs a different opening than a bare built-in one, so frame to the figures on the jacket's spec sheet rather than the grill's.
What does the jacket do once it is in?
It forms the thermal barrier between the grill body and the island structure, keeping sustained heat off framing, cabinetry and adjacent finishes.
What material is the liner?
304 stainless steel, so the liner matches the grill it surrounds for outdoor durability instead of becoming the weak point of the installation.
Does the AIJ-30-01 come with a grill?
No. This is the insulated jacket only. Other sizes are in the grill liners collection.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
