How many burners does the Sizzler Pro 40 have?
Five cast stainless steel burners producing roughly 70,000 BTUs of total cooking power. That is the highest output in the Sizzler cart range.
Is the rotisserie included with this grill?
Yes. A rear infrared burner is fitted and the rotisserie kit comes with it, so roasting is available from the first cook.
How large is this setup on the patio?
64 inches wide, 25.5 inches deep and 57 inches high. That is over five feet of width, so plan its position rather than assuming it will tuck into a corner.
How heavy is the grill and cart together?
297 pounds with the cart. The locking casters make it movable on a smooth surface, but this is not a unit you carry up steps.
Why are two grades of stainless listed?
Because the grill and the cart use different steel, and the grill head itself is not one grade. On the head, the body and the 16 gauge double-lined hood are #443 stainless steel, the main burners are #202 cast stainless steel, and the 8mm round cooking grates are stainless steel of an alloy Summerset does not publish; the burner covers are the easy-clean briquette system, whose material is also not published. Under it, the CART-SZR40-DC cart is #304 stainless for added durability where the unit takes knocks and stands in standing water.
How much cooking area does it have?
666 square inches of main grilling area and 867 square inches of total capacity, enough to cook for a large group in one pass.
Is the SZRPRO40 lit for night cooking?
Yes, LED accent and control knob lighting, part of the upgraded styling on the Pro series along with the refined hood lines and control knobs.
What job does the briquette system do on a five-burner grill?
The easy-clean briquettes sit between the burners and the grates, distributing heat and keeping grease off the burner tubes. With five burners under one hood, that is what keeps the surface consistent.
What is inside the deluxe cart?
Double access doors with room for tools and a propane tank, side shelves for prep and serving, and heavy-duty locking casters underneath.
Does it come in a natural gas version?
Both are listed. On natural gas the tank compartment simply becomes storage.
Can I build it into an island later?
Yes. The cart is designed so you can move into a built-in outdoor kitchen later, and the head is also sold as the Sizzler Pro 40 built-in.
