How wide is the Sizzler 40 on its cart?
63.4 inches wide including the cart. Measure the gate or path you plan to roll it through before ordering, as that is over five feet.
How many burners does the SZR40 have?
Five stainless steel tube burners, about 60,000 BTUs in total. Five zones across 40 inches means you can leave one end cool and still have plenty of hot surface.
Is there a rear burner?
Yes, a rear infrared burner is fitted, which gives you even radiant heat for roasting chicken, pork and larger cuts rather than only direct grilling.
How much grate space does it give me?
684 square inches of main grilling area and 885 square inches of total capacity. This is the high-capacity option in the Sizzler cart range.
What do the flame tamers do?
They spread heat coming off the burners and shield the burner tubes from grease and debris. Between five burners, they are what turns separate flames into one usable surface.
Which stainless steel is used on the SZR40 cart grill?
#443 stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance through years of outdoor use.
What storage does the cart have?
Double access doors with room for tools and a propane tank, plus side shelves for prep and serving. The cart is model CART-SZR40-DC and is designed to match the grill.
Does it have interior or control lighting?
No, this model is not fitted with lighting. If night cooking matters, the Sizzler Pro 40 cart is the same width class with LED control lighting and an included rotisserie.
Can it be converted to a built-in later?
Yes. The cart configuration is meant to give you flexibility now with the option to move into a built-in outdoor kitchen later, and the head is also sold on its own as the Sizzler 40 built-in.
Propane or natural gas?
Both are available. Propane keeps the cart mobile since the tank rides inside; natural gas ties it to a gas line.
Is it much more grill than the 32-inch cart?
Meaningfully so. You gain a fifth burner, roughly 12,000 more BTUs and about 130 more square inches of main cooking area over the Sizzler 32 cart, at the cost of nearly a foot of patio width.
