What are the cutout dimensions for the TF-DR1-26U-A?
24 1/4" wide, 20 1/2" deep, and only 3 1/2" high. The drawer itself measures 25.6"W x 20.6"D x 6"H, so the frame laps over the opening top and bottom.
Why is the cutout so short?
Because this is a horizontal drawer, not a cabinet. The whole unit is 6" tall, so it only needs a 3 1/2" tall opening and it claims a strip of island rather than a full column.
What island openings does it fit?
Flush-mount openings from 25" to 29 7/8" wide. That is the span the 25.6" frame will cover cleanly.
What actually fits inside it?
Barbecue utensils, dinnerware, and flat tools. It is 20.6" deep, so long tongs and spatulas lie flat front to back instead of crossing the drawer at an angle.
Does the drawer pull out all the way?
Yes, on heavy-duty full-extension tracks with ball-bearing slides. On a shallow drawer that matters, because you would otherwise be feeling blind for anything at the back.
