Alfresco Steamer, Fryer & Pasta Cooker AG-SF
The AG-SF is the drop-in accessory that lets you boil, steam, and fry directly in the grill. Drop it in, and the grill becomes a station for a seafood boil, a pot of pasta, steamed corn and shellfish, or a proper fry without carrying a stockpot of scalding water back and forth from the kitchen.
For anyone who cooks seafood, that last point is the real argument. Boiling shrimp, crab, or crawfish outdoors means the mess, the smell, and the heat all stay outside. Like the rest of Alfresco's drop-in system, it installs and removes by hand, so the grill returns to standard grilling the moment you are done.

What can you actually cook in the AG-SF?
Anything that needs boiling water or hot oil. Seafood boils, pasta, steamed corn and shellfish, blanched vegetables, and frying all work in it.
For seafood in particular that is the argument. The mess, the smell, and the heat of a crawfish or crab boil all stay outdoors instead of taking over your kitchen.
Does it need its own gas line or island cutout?
No. The AG-SF drops into the grill you already own and cooks over the grill's existing burners, so it costs you nothing in island space or plumbing. That is the difference between it and Alfresco's Versa Power burner (AXEVP), which is a separate 65,000 BTU built-in appliance with its own cutout.
Which Alfresco grills does it fit?
Alfresco lists the AG-SF across the ALXE range from 30-inch through 56-inch, and on the Intelligent Professional grills. Fitment tracks the grill series, so check your model designation before ordering.
Can I take it back out?
Yes. It lifts out by hand and the grill returns to standard grilling. Nothing is bolted in or permanently modified, which is how the whole Alfresco drop-in system works.
What is it made of?
304 stainless steel. On an accessory that holds boiling water and hot oil over live burners, that grade is doing real work rather than just matching the finish.
