This is a serious griddle plate, not a thin add-on pan. The AGSQ-G is 3/16-inch solid stainless steel with integrated sides and a backsplash, and it drops straight into your Alfresco grill to turn part or all of the cooking surface into a proper flat top. That thickness is the whole point: heavy plate holds heat, so laying down eight smash burgers does not tank your surface temperature the way a thin griddle would.

The integrated sides and backsplash keep eggs, fajita juices, and butter on the plate instead of down into the burners. It handles teppanyaki, breakfast for a crowd, fajitas, and burgers, and when you are done it lifts out and the grill goes back to being a grill.
