Alfresco 30" Pizza Oven Cart AXE-PZA-CART-01
This is the cart that turns the AXE-PZA countertop pizza oven into a freestanding appliance. The oven is sold as a countertop unit only, so without a counter to put it on, this is how it stands up.
The deck carries retaining stops positioned to locate the oven's feet so it cannot slide off the surface — the detail that matters when you are rolling 1,000°F of ceramic across a patio. Underneath there is room for a standard 20 lb. LP tank, which is what makes a propane oven genuinely portable.

This cart or the Deluxe Prep Cart?
This one is the straightforward answer: a stable rolling base, brakes, and somewhere to put the gas bottle. It is the right choice if you already have prep space nearby, or if the oven needs to move — garage in winter, patio in summer.
The Deluxe Pizza Oven Prep Cart AXE-PZA-PPC is a different proposition entirely: a full outdoor pizza station with an insulated ice drawer, condiment well, cutting board, plate shelf and folding side table. It costs several times as much and takes far more space, and it earns that if the oven is the centrepiece of how you entertain.
If the oven is going into a masonry island instead, you want the AXE-PZA-BI built-in rather than the countertop oven and a cart.

Will the oven slide off when I move it?
No. The deck has retaining stops positioned to locate the oven's feet specifically to prevent it sliding off the surface.
Does the cart lock in place?
Partly, which is the normal arrangement. Two of the four 4" casters have brakes and two do not.
That gives you a cart that steers when you push it and stays put when you set the brakes.
Can I put a propane tank on it?
Yes. There is space for a standard 20 lb. LP gas tank, though the tank is not included.
That is what makes a propane AXE-PZA-LP genuinely portable — though remember the oven still needs a 115V outlet within reach of its 8 ft. cord.
Should I buy this cart or the deluxe prep cart?
Buy this one if you need a stand. Buy the AXE-PZA-PPC prep cart if you need a pizza station.
The prep cart adds an insulated ice drawer, condiment well, cutting board, plate shelf, storage and a folding side table, at several times the price and roughly twice the width. It earns that if you run dough for a crowd; it does not if the oven does two pizzas on a weeknight.
Is the cart included with the oven?
No. Alfresco sells the AXE-PZA as an oven only, and cart options are separate.
Does a cover fit the oven while it is on the cart?
Alfresco lists the AGV-PZA cover for the countertop oven, and some dealers describe it as the freestanding cover too, but we have not confirmed cart coverage with Alfresco.
Call 843-212-7209 before ordering a cover for a cart-mounted oven and we will check rather than have you find out on the patio.
Can I leave the oven on the cart outdoors year-round?
The oven and cart are outdoor appliances, but cover the oven between cooks. The pizza chamber is open at the front, so wind-driven rain gets in through the door opening rather than just sitting on top.
