Is a 54-inch cart really movable?
Treat it as semi-permanent. It rolls, and the locking casters hold it firmly once positioned, but a 54-inch hybrid head on top of it is not something you reposition casually.
Measure your gate and access widths before you commit to this size rather than the 42.
What storage does it carry?
A large storage drawer split by stainless steel fuel partitions for charcoal and hardwood, two soft-close accessory drawers above it, and a dedicated pullout drawer for the propane tank.
Is there any prep surface?
A folding side shelf and a cutting board, plus a cart handle and a towel holder on the body.
Why is fuel separation worth a whole drawer?
Because a hybrid grill burns gas, charcoal and wood, and the solid fuel has to be dry, sorted and within arm's reach while you cook. The stainless partitions keep hardwood and charcoal apart inside one drawer instead of forcing two containers.
How is the cabinet ventilated?
Sides, rear and base. A sealed cabinet under a running grill traps heat, and with propane stored inside, continuous airflow is a safety requirement.

The hybrid carts carry a feature the gas carts do not need: a large storage drawer divided by stainless steel fuel partitions, sized for charcoal and hardwood. Cooking on a hybrid grill means keeping solid fuel to hand, dry, and separated by type — and the cart is where that lives. Above it sit two accessory drawers on soft-close hardware, a folding side shelf and a cutting board, plus a dedicated pullout for the propane tank.
