American Made Grills Estate Stainless Steel Smoker Tray
The American Made Grills Estate Stainless Steel Smoker Tray (SSMK-EST) is the cheapest meaningful upgrade you can make to a gas grill. Load it with hardwood chips or pellets, set it over a burner, and the Estate produces real smoke rather than just heat. See the rest of our grilling accessories from American Made Grills.
The tray works by holding fuel close enough to the burner to smoulder rather than ignite. Mesquite and hickory for beef, apple and cherry for pork and poultry, oak for almost anything — the wood choice does more to change the result than any setting on the grill.
Because it sits within the existing cooking system rather than replacing anything, you keep full gas control and full use of the grates. Smoke becomes something you add to a weeknight cook, not a weekend project.
Constructed from durable stainless steel for repeated use and straightforward cleaning. Designed for the Estate Series cooking system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which grills is this smoker tray designed for?
The Estate Series cooking system. The model is SSMK-EST, and it is built to sit within that grill rather than replace any part of it.
Does it take wood chips or pellets?
Either. You load the tray with hardwood chips or pellets and set it over a burner, close enough that the fuel smoulders instead of igniting.
Which wood should I use for what?
Mesquite and hickory for beef, apple and cherry for pork and poultry, oak for almost anything. The wood choice changes the result more than any setting on the grill does.
Do I lose burner control or grate space when I use it?
No. Because the tray works inside the existing cooking system, you keep full gas control and full use of the grates. Smoke becomes something you add to a weeknight cook rather than a separate project.
What is it made from?
Stainless steel, chosen for repeated use and straightforward cleaning. It lifts out when you are done. See the rest of the grilling accessories for other Estate add-ons.
Let customers speak for us
I absolutely love my Coyote gas grill! The quality is excellent, it looks beautiful, and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I also want to give a special thank you to Ryan at Northwoods Grills. He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. Before my grill even arrived, he took the time to help me with measurements and answered all of my questions to make sure everything would fit properly. He was always very attentive, patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. His customer service really made a difference and made the whole experience so much easier for me.
It’s not often that you receive this level of personal attention and customer service. I truly appreciate all of Ryan’s help and would absolutely recommend Northwoods Grills. Great product and outstanding customer service!

Best pricing available for the product (checked all other on line retailers), and Ryan provided excellent responsiveness during the sales process. Loved dealing directly with the owner vs a sales person.
Delivery was completed within a week of the order and Ryan stayed in touch with consistent follow-up to ensure the products met my expectations.
Will recommend to friends / others looking for a high-end built in grill and matching cabinets.
