Artisan Insulating Liner Jacket for 32" Built-In Grill ART-IJ32

Artisan makes a 32-inch built-in in all three of its grill lines — American Eagle, the Artisan Series and Professional — and all three drop into the same 30-1/2" x 19-3/4" x 9-1/2" opening. That shared firebox is why Alfresco lists a single jacket, the ARTIJ-32, for all of its Artisan 32" grills. When the island around the grill is framed in wood or built from other combustible material, Alfresco requires one of its jackets for a safe installation. The ARTIJ-32 is self-supporting 304 stainless steel: you build the jacket's opening, the jacket sits in the counter, and the grill slides inside it. Model and Installation Information

The ARTIJ-32 fits the Artisan American Eagle 32" Built-In Gas Grill (AAEP-32), Artisan Series 32" Built-In Grill (ART-32) and Artisan Professional 32" Built-In Grill (ARTP-32). Alfresco lists it for all of its 32-inch Artisan grills, which works because the three share one firebox and one 30-1/2" x 19-3/4" x 9-1/2" cutout. It is not for the 32-inch cart models.

With the jacket the island opening becomes 33-1/4" W x 23-5/8" D x 10-1/4" H. If a builder has already framed to the grill's own cutout, it will be too small by 2-3/4" in width and nearly 4" in depth. The jacket arrives as panels that bolt together; per Alfresco's assembly instructions the grill's countertop support ring comes off the firebox, the head slides into the jacket over its rails, the six ring screws are refitted, the power cord is fed through the jacket's cable hole and the whole assembly is bedded into the counter with clear silicone. The American Eagle runs on battery ignition and has no cord; the Artisan Series and Professional do.
